Like many of you, It's a Wonderful Life is my ultimate favorite Christmas movie, of all time. There is nothing that can ever compete with the emotion I feel when George Bailey runs down the main street of Bedford Falls yelling "Merry Christmas" to everyone he meets! Even Mr. Potter. We know the lines by heart, and yet that, too, is what makes it so dear, it's warm familiarity. Knowing in advance that everything will work itself out in the end, gives us that additional satisfaction in watching... from the beginning, when George is just a boy... to the "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" end!
Christmas is the season of giving, and while many networks have given us so many wonderful movies to watch... don't forget to also immerse yourself into the beloved Christmas classics that continue to stand the test of time! Their incredible stories and messages of hope linger in our hearts and carry on in our spirits all throughout the Christmas season... and hopefully into the New Year!
