On Christmas Day the UP network announced the exciting news of Heartland's return on UP, early this coming year, with Season 11!
Here's the scoop direct from UP: "Heartland" fans, have we got the ultimate Christmas present for YOU! Heartland Season 11 will premiere on UP Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 9 PM ET! (a 2 HOUR PREMIERE!) With Amy and Ty adjusting to life as parents, there will be plenty of twists and turns in the new season!
If you're not familiar with Heartland, it is a one hour family drama set on a family ranch. Here's a fuller description, direct from UP-TV: "A family drama series set in the rolling foothills of the Rockies, “Heartland” follows life on the Heartland ranch as Amy Fleming (Amber Marshall), her older sister Lou (Michelle Morgan) and Grandfather Jack (Shaun Johnston) deal with the challenges of running the ranch that has been in their family for generations. Heartland is not like any other ranch — it is a horse ranch with a special mission of treating troubled or neglected horses and finding them new homes, and Amy has inherited her late mother’s uncanny ability to work with, understand and help heal those horses."
As a fan of this series, since Episode 1, I am thrilled to see this drama return in 2018! I can't wait to see what twists and turns come next for Jack, Tim, Lou, Amy, Ty, Georgie, and all their friends at Heartland!
