PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: Every Christmas, professional Secret Santa Tom—otherwise known as “Mr. Christmas”—helps clients give their loved ones the perfect presents. When his old college pal, Paul, hires him to find a thoughtful gift for his girlfriend Jenny, Tom spends the weeks before Christmas getting to know her. As Tom and Jenny spend more time together planning an event for Jenny’s non-profit, a romantic spark develops between them, and Jenny begins to doubt her relationship with Paul. When Jenny discovers that Paul hired Tom to research her and find her a gift, she feels betrayed by both men. As Christmas approaches, Tom will need to pull out all the stops to make Jenny’s holiday wishes come true—and to make his wish of having Jenny in his life come true as well.

PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: A military widow (Julie Benz), whose faith in Christmas has lapsed, rents an apartment to a handsome Army Captain (Michael Shanks), recovering from an injury in battle, and whose faith in Christmas is inspirational. As they team up to save the town’s military museum with a Christmas fundraising event, these two “wounded birds” find themselves falling in love -- and being healed by the magic of Christmas.

STUDIO CITY, CA – Tuesday, October 3, 2017 – Hallmark Movies & Mysteries announces the network’s first-ever “Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas Preview Show,” a one-hour Original Special, starring Holly Robinson Peete (“For Peete’s Sake”) will premiere exclusively on the network, Saturday, October 21 (10 p.m. ET/PT, 9C).

Peete is joined in the special by Hallmark Movies & Mysteries rescued and adopted pet, Happy The Dog. Holly Robinson Peete’s first-ever Original mystery movie franchise, “The Morning Show Murders” – from the novels by TV personality and host, Al Roker -- has its World Premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in January, 2018.

Peete’s guest star, Happy The Dog, pairs up with his adopted feline brother, Happy The Cat, in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries widely popular, “Happy Yule Log,” a 24-hour Original Special premiering, Wednesday, November 22 (5 p.m. ET/PT, 4C), and a 24-hour Original Special for Christmas, “A Very Happy Yule Log,” Sunday, December 24 (5 p.m. ET/PT, 4C).

Peete also switch hits this holiday season co-starring with Alison Sweeney and Jordan Bridges in “Christmas At Holly Lodge,” premiering on Hallmark Channel, Sunday, December 3 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C).

Peete and her husband, former NFL great, Rodney Peete will star in Hallmark Channel’s first-ever Original Reality Series, “Meet the Peetes” coming to the network in February, 2018.

My *Quick* Take: Yay! It's official! Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is now announcing 13, yes 13 NEW CHRISTMAS MOVIES for their Network alone. It wasn't that long ago - that the Hallmark Channel had that many and we thought that was a lot! Oh my goodness! So... now that means there are a total of 34 NEW CHRISTMAS MOVIES!!!

Another interesting bit of news in the release... Holly Robinson Peete’s mystery movie franchise, "The Morning Show Murders," is coming to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in January 2018!
